Well shit.

7pm on a Saturday. This has got to be the WORST time to cut off someone's internet.

My ISP has been bought/sold twice in the last 2 years. Now they don't even give me Net-30, no disconnect notice. Just 2 weeks after the bill is due…. CLICK.

My cell phone has a cracked case. I hope it's still waterproof, as my phone is wet with tears. Some store workers keep coming by, and I'm trying to hide that I'm crying.

After decades of self-funding my media work and public service activism (peace, public safety, environmental stewardship, home rule democracy) with my highly compensated tech job, i decided to try to do public service work full time, July 2017.

I moved temporarily to Dimock PA to help friends who had been victimized by the oil and gas industry. I helped save Ray Kemble's house. Ask Craig Stevens. He'll tell you. The industry came after me HARD.

Since 2020, I've been nearly 💯% focused on COVID, although i did help stop a hazardous waste Incinerator I'm my village. Friends i am in desperate need for sustaining funding. I have giving up my car. I don't have a sim card for my phone.

Without internet i lose all contact with the world.

So I'm feeling a bit desperate.

Someone on Facebook didn't like what i was saying About Children's Health Defense, and asked, “Who funds you?”

Here is my answer:

Funds ME?   CHD pulled in $3M in 2019 and $7M in 2020. Bobby Kennedy got a $90k raise *during Lockdowns!*   Me? I gave up my high $$$ corporate job in 2017 to do public service work full time. I have survived almost exclusively on donations since then. I worked for an environmental nonprofit for a small stipend, but was let go in 2020 over my COVID views. I also worked for CHD as a paralegal P/T for ~6mos in 2021.    I owe my landlord $5k in back rent and i am facing eviction. I owe about $1500 additionally. I haven't bought clothes in 2 years, and what wear are ragged and shabby. I often don't have $8 in change to do my laundry.   I get 1/2 of my food from the local food pantry, but there are many essentials that i can't get there. I am nearly out of food now, but I just received about $13 in donations from my Substack, so i bought a box of macaroni, and a couple of cans of crushed tomatos and a couple cans of black beans. I can live for 3-4 days on this, but my internet is past due, so i could get disconnected at any time.   Does that answer your question?  PS: my life is VERY difficult.
