"Settling the Virus Debate": Tracking the Action

aka, the "Virus Challenge"... what's happening with it?

This page has been established to track the action (commentary, new signatories, rebuttals, etc) for the “Settling the Virus Debate” statement, which will attempt to verify and validate the “Three Pillars of Virology” (as Tom Cowan likes to say), using a double-blinded study, and proper controls.

That is, this proposal will attempt to Validate the primary methods used to demonstrate the identification and characterization of so-called “viruses” by using the very methods used by Virologists themselves.

The Genesis of the “Virus Challenge”

Back in early June, I had the distinct honor of starting an email thread which became the origin of the “Settling the Virus Debate” statement, a/k/a, the “Virus Challenge”.

(I have redacted all but the essential details)

Later, about a dozen or so prominent people in #TeamNoVirus joined the discussion.

I chose not to even ask to be a signatory, since

a) I think they were looking for high-profile people who have done noteworthy work in this area, which I am not,

b) I lack those all-important post-nominal letters (I’m the only person on the thread without them! I only possess a “battlefield commission” in a non-medical field — the title “Unix Systems Engineer”)

c) My contributions to the statement were small, relating more to style and tone, rather than substance.

It was a great privilege to have been invited to be a part of the discussion and witness the evolution of this historic document!

Now the "Virus Challenge", principally co-authored by Tom Cowan, Mark Bailey, and Kevin Corbett, is really blowing up and causing a lot of stir, and sometimes, hostility, from the camp I like to call the “Virus Pushers Against Clotshots”, the contingent of the “Medical Freedom” movement, which unfortunately forms the vast majority.

But THIS IS CHANGING!

For example, everyone is very excited that Dr. Michael Yeadon, former VP of Pfizer, has joined as a signatory!

More prominent people every day are re-thinking their prior positions, such as Dr. Dolores Cahill, and Dr. Lee Merritt, and are making large strides.
